Get Strong AF #10

Today I decided to start with the leg press and see how heavy I could go.

There were already plates stacked on the leg press by a young fellow who used the machine before me. I thought I could never press that much weight since my strength has dropped a great deal compared with 2 years ago, so I took a lot of plates off of the machine.

I started the exersice and figured I could go a little heavier, after a set I added more weight, another set, more weight, another set, more weight resulting in the total weight of the young fellow before me. Yes that felt really good.

*fist bump*

So the 5 sets of leg press are done with the working weight, meaning all of the sets I did before with the ‘lighter’ weight count as a warmup.

Breakdown Get Strong AF #10:

  • Leg press 5×8-10
  • Squats 5×6-8
  • Dumbbell front squat 4×8-10
  • Superset 4 sets
    • Hip Thrusts 8-10
    • Goblet squat 6-8
  • Leg extensions 4×8-10

You could say I was doing the duck walk after this one…!
