This workout is pretty intense. What I did here  were only supersets and I kept the rest period as short as possible. Short enough to just to be able to catch my breath and keep going.

Lifters often joke about (not) doing cardio…  lift weights faster instead of doing a cardio exercise.. well what can I say.. I dread the treadmill.. so shorter rest periods, supersets, dropsets and / or active rests are my way of getting my heart rate up and get the intensity I want.
So today’s workout was all about the back, getting the sexy back!

Breakdown: 

Warm up jump rope skipping and barbell row, just barbell
  • Superset 5 sets
    • Bent over barbell row 8 reps
    • Jump.rope skipping double unders
  • Superset 4 sets
    • Dumbbell row 8 reps each
    • Kneeling high pulley row  8 reps
  • Superset 4 sets
    • Lat pulldown 8 reps
    • Close palm inwards grip pulldown 8 reps
  • Seated pulley row 3 sets 8 reps
