I am thinking about doing more HIIT circuits after my workouts, only 10-15 minutes long up until the summer. This way I can get my body burning more and at the same time work on my conditioning without losing muscles. The plan is also that during my kids’ holiday I do HIIT at home since I can’t go to the gym when the kids are home.
After the Christmas holiday I felt like I had to start over again since I missed a lot of workouts but it seems it’s actually not as bad as I thought. Even though I have my days that I feel weak I am still making progress because I increased weight on most of my exercises, yaaay!Again, today I took really short rest periods, about 30 seconds to get my heart rate up and intensify the workout.
