Get Strong AF #65

I was supposed to do shoulders on Thursday but since I can’t go to the gym on Thursday I decided to do shoulders today with Chest and Triceps.

Since I don’t have a lot of time to do my workouts I always make sure to make it count. I want to get in and out of the gym within the hour, hour-and-a-half tops. So that means with a decent warming up and cooling down I have about 45 – 1hr 15 min do actually lift weights and / or do HIIT, abs etc. That’s why I LOVE supersets. You go from one exercise to another with little to no rest in between exercises. Between the supersets I only take a 30 sec break or just enough to drink water. Supersets are amazing when it comes to exhaust yourself.

Just like today’s #65, by the time I got to my last few reps my muscles were burning and shaking, to the point of exhaustion. Best feeling ever.

Then I did a short but intense fast jump rope skipping and I was done!

Breakdown:

  • Superset 3 sets ’till failure
    • Cable chest flies
    • Face pulls
  • Superset 3 sets
    • Dumbbell press 12-15 reps
    • Arnold press 8-10 reps
  • Superset 3 sets
    • Dumbbell pullover 12-15 reps
    • Lateral raise 6-8 reps last set dropset
  • Superset 3 sets ’till failure
    • Triceps cable pushdown
    • Triceps overhead extension
  • Fast jump rope skipping 5 minutes
