I wasn’t feeling it at all today. I had little to no sleep and by the time I finally got some sleep my alarm went off. I managed to stay in bed for a few minutes.. or so I thought. I woke up way too late and so did the kids. The ONE time they decide to sleep in..pffff

By the time I got to the gym my motivation was so low I didn’t feel like doing anything at all. I felt so tired but I dragged myself to the locker room.. wrote my workout and put my music on. I gotta say I felt a bit better with my music blasting loudly in my ears but still feeling meh.

Since I missed the gym yesterday I decided to do legs accompanied with explosive bodyweight movements.  I started with barbell squats.. but I was soooooo tired that I could do only a fraction of the weights I normally do. Even after the warm up and all the stretching. I did complete my sets.. don’t ask me how, no seriously.. don’t ask. Then I went on with the other exercises. By the time I got to do the superset goblet squats & bridge dumbbell press to pullover, I felt sick to my stomach.. ugh. Again I completed my sets but starring to feel sick.  And there you have it.

This was my body protesting, lack of sleep and no breakfast = fatigue and sickening. Yup. I quit and went home. That was most definitely not a badazz moment. 💪🏼👎🏼

Breakdown of the workout  I did not finish:

  • 4 sets Barbell squats 8-10 reps
  • Superset 4 sets no rest
    • Goblet squat 8-10 reps
    • Sit up to hip up 15 reps
  • Superset 3 sets 8-10 reps
    • Extended range of motion bulgarian split squats
    • Bridge to press to pullover dumbbells

**this was the end of what I did today**

  • Superset 3 sets 8-10 reps
    • Split squat
    • Breakdancer
  • Superset 3 sets 8-10 reps
    • Cable glute kickbacks
    • Standing abduction low pulley
    • Bear walkouts
  • Superset 3 sets 12-15 reps
    • Alternating hand swing dumbbell
    • Side to side blast off pushups

I need some z’s now.. niggt night
