Today I worked out in the evening, in a different gym in another town. I kept hearing about this gym from people that it wasn’t so busy in the evening and that they had more equipment, so I decided to give it a try and check it out. I know you’re just dying to know what I thought about this gym so here goes.. Yes, there is more equipment just not the kind I like. They have more cardio machines but less free weights and as most of you know I am not a cardio bunny 🐇

I did have an awesome workout in and luckily the gym was quiet so I didn’t have to wait, win! This gym is ok for the evening workouts since my gym is always packed in the evening and transforms to a dating site.

Again I did a full body workout and started with and worked my way up. I tried the Zotman curls for the first time. It’s a good exercise to hit the biceps with. I supersetted it with overhead triceps extensions to get all the arm muscles working 💪🏼👊🏼

Breakdown:

  • Deadlifts  4 sets 6-8 reps
  • Bulgarian dumbbell split squats 3 sets 8 reps
  • Superset   3 sets
    • Single-arm dumbbell row 8-10 reps
    • Front cable row 6 reps
  • Superset 3 sets
    • Seated dumbbell shoulder press 6-10 reps
    • Low cable crossover 8 reps
  • Face pulls; start light and increase weight each set 6 sets, last set about 4-5 reps
  • Incline dumbbell press 3 sets  6-8 reps
  • Superset 3 sets
    • Zotman curls 8 reps
    • Triceps overheas extensions 10 reps
