Chocolate makes the world a better place, especially when it’s healthy, guilt free en super delicious.
Today I made a healthy chocolate cream. It’s high in protein, low in sugars and packed with so many healthy nutrients!!
One of the main ingredients of this simple yet delicious recipe is raw organic cacao. The beauty of this super food is that it has 40 times the antioxidants of Blueberries (!) It’s the highest plant-based source of iron, full of magnesium for a healthy heart and it has more calcium that a glass of cow’s milk! Did I mention that it’s a natural mood elevator and anti-depressant…? No..? Well here you go!
- 10 dates pitted
- 2 tbsp raw cacao
- 2 scoops protein powder vanila or chocolate
- 150 ml almond milk makes Chocolate cream (OR 50 ml to make chocolate frosting)
Mix all of the ingredients in a food processor until the mixture has a creamy consistency.
Delicious on fruit or homemade chocolate protein cake.
