Hiit #1 Bodyweight Only

Normally it was supposed to be my rest day, but since I didn’t work out yesterday I had to make it up this morning with a short hiit bodyweight session at home… aaarrggghhhh..!

HIIT stands for ‘High Intensity Interval Training’ meaning you alternate between intense exercise where you give a hundred percent and less intense exercise or complete rest. The duration of both intensity levels can vary. I usually 30-60 sec all out and 15-30 sec rest depending on the kind of exercises I do.

Doing HIIT on a regular basis has a lot of benefits. It keeps your heart rate up during a workout, it burns more fat in way less time than steady cardio sessions and we all hate those long sessions on the treadmill.. Even after the workout the metabolism still keeps going. There’s not much time or space needed to complete a good workout and also no equipment needed!

This morning I did 50 seconds on 10 seconds off for a total of 15 rounds (makes 15 minutes).


  • push up burpees
  • high knees
  • squat jumps
  • jumping jacks
  • jump lunges

Simple exercises with a simple method giving great results!
