Smoked Salmon on Whole Wheat Bread

I love my breakfasts to be very simple, healthy (duh) and delicious. Yes, this is an extremely healthy simple super delicious recipe and totally worth mentioning.

One of the main ingredients of this breakfast is smoked salmon, it almost can’t get healthier than that! Chill, I said ALMOST! But let’s get serious for a moment and discuss the healthy benefits of my pal smoked salmon. No worries I’ll keep it short.

Smoked salmon contains essential nutrients to benefit your health, packed with protein, vitamins (such as vitamin B & D), magnesium and selenium. It is high in fats BUT the good kind, omega-3 baby!

Now back to the recipe you’ll need:

  • One slice of whole wheat bread
  • Rucola 20 gr
  • Large slice smoked salmon (or as much as you need to cover the slice of bread)
  • Onion 1/4 sliced
  • Black pepper

For the fruit salad:

  • 1 Kiwi, chopped (peeled or not, whatever floats your boat)
  • 15 Blue berries
  • 2 Whole walnuts (already cracked)


Put the rucola on the whole wheat bread slice, add the smoked salon and onion, then spice it up with some black pepper.

Mix the kiwi, blueberries and walnuts in a small bowl.

This healthy kiwi berry fruit salad with walnuts is truly a healhy treat!
